Too many people, especially when they are first starting out in business, are too that you have to buy leads. What happens when you buys leads is that you get leads that have been bought and sold over and over again. When you do call these leads, they are simply not interested in what you have. For instance, my wife filled out a form for something in particular that she wanted. Ever since, we have gotten phone calls asking for my wife. When I inquire as to ‘why do they want to talk to her’, the person always responds that they had some information that my wife requested. We have gotten hundreds of these calls. One guy even told me that he wasn’t for sure where he got my wife’s name, but he had some information for her. I responded, ‘What you are trying to tell me is that you bought a cheap lead’, which is very true.
